Kelsey Harris joined InterAction in March 2019 and currently serves as a Policy and Advocacy Coordinator. With over nine years of experience, Kelsey specializes in policy, advocacy, coalition building, and project management. Kelsey manages advocacy and policy efforts through InterAction’s Public Policy Committee system and spearheads InterAction’s engagement related to Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH).
Prior to working at InterAction, Kelsey worked in immigration policy and advocacy at the Immigration Justice Campaign, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and a private law firm. She received her MPP from George Mason University, where she focused on international governance and policy issues and received the Alexis de Tocqueville Award for extraordinary academic achievement in the program. Originally from North Carolina, Kelsey received her B.A. in International Studies and Studio Art from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
