Robert Burnett

Robert Burnett is a technical consultant for the NGO Aid Map initiative.  He serves as liaison to NGO Aid Map developers working to maintain and extend the NGO Aid Map platform, a role involving defining specifications, product testing, and troubleshooting. Robert also creates data-driven visualizations for the web to support the initiative, including dynamic maps, charts, dashboards, and analytic tools. He reviews data contributed to the map and regularly engages member staff to assist and encourage their provision of thorough, high-quality data.  His varied work facilitates easier exploration and analysis of NGO Aid Map data, subsequently reducing the barriers associated with the transformation of data into knowledge and informed decision-making. Robert joined InterAction as an intern in early 2013 and was later brought on as a consultant. He holds a B.S. in Environmental Science & Policy from the University of Maryland - College Park, is an avid musician, and enjoys every opportunity to get outside and go exploring.
