Aliza Vaccher

Aliza Vaccher joined the InterAction team in 2018 as a Program Associate for the Humanitarian Policy and Practice team. An Oregon native, she holds an M.A. in International Human Rights, with a certificate in humanitarian assistance, from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver. Prior to joining the staff full-time, Aliza worked as an intern with the HPP team; she also served as President of the No Lost Generation Student Initiative at the University of Denver, supported the International Rescue Committee's research on gender-based violence services and women's protection and empowerment, and worked as an intern with the Cape Town Refugee Centre in Cape Town, South Africa.
