Ramon Broers

Ramon Broers joined InterAction in 2017 as a Program Manager, supporting InterAction’s Protection work concerning interagency coordination and working group engagement. Ramon brings a breadth of operational protection experience, having previously worked in Haiti, DR Congo, Burundi, and South Sudan where he focused on child protection, GBV, LGBTI, anti-trafficking, mental health, and other related protection programming. He has NGO leadership experience in both humanitarian and development contexts, as well as experience working with the UN on social protection and humanitarian policy. Most recently, he was the child protection sub-cluster coordinator in South Sudan for UNICEF, supporting one of the largest global child protection responses. Ramon received an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
