Fulfilling Humanitarian Commitments in 2017

At the World Humanitarian Summit (WHS) in 2016, InterAction made ten discrete commitments with the collective aim of better serving those in humanitarian need across the globe. During the summit, 20 initiatives were also launched to strengthen the WHS process and help turn commitments into reality. InterAction plays a significant role in one of these Initiatives, the Grand Bargain, which has the express purpose of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of humanitarian assistance. Participating agencies agreed to submit self-reports concretely identifying how they are fulfilling various WHS commitments. InterAction’s 2017 self-reports for both World Humanitarian Summit and Grand Bargain commitments are now available. Read further to learn how InterAction has engaged over the last year to support the commitments.
