Call for Content Proposals
Clinics: 45 Minutes
InterAction invites proposals for Expert Clinic sessions that are forward-looking, solution-oriented and grounded in action to move beyond just diagnosing challenges. These sessions are designed for in-depth, participatory discussions led by sector experts. With up to two speakers per clinic, each in-person session opens with thought-provoking presentation(s) followed by 30-minute interactive discussion with the audience.
We are particularly interested in the sharing of new approaches being tested or implemented, new partnerships or collaborations that have emerged or are emerging, and practical steps organizations are taking to prepare for the future. We are interested in learning what the sector should stop doing, what will be different by 2030 and what needs to scale in the next 3 to 5 years. Strong proposals will: focus on emerging trends, innovations and future scenarios rather than retrospective analysis; connecting bold ideas to real-world application; and providing participants with clear insights and ways forward.
Topics for consideration include (but are NOT limited to):
- Locally-led initiatives that are shaping the future
- Redefining partnerships and power in practice
- Future of humanitarian response in protracted crises
- Strengthening global and local health systems
- Operating in a shrinking civic space and shifting political contexts
- Technology (ethical and responsible AI and digital transformation, technology and the environment)
- Migration, displacement and environmental pressures
- Land rights and indigenous stewardship
- WASH
- Collective changemaking across sectors
