PUBLIC: Are we listening? Preventing Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment through two-way conversations

Sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment will not be prevented through a compliance approach alone. Effective prevention and response must start from the needs and perspectives of survivors and affected communities. That entails communicating clearly and being ready to listen. In this session, we invite you to join us in reflecting on the central role of language in a survivor-centered PSEAH approach, and promising efforts to enable a dialogue with communities on PSEAH. The event will take place online on Tuesday 17 May 2022, from 1pm-2pm UTC (9am-10am EST). Attendance is free and interpretation will be available in Arabic, French, and Spanish.
