Theresa Fang

Policy Fellow, Food Security, Nutrition, and Agriculture

Theresa joined InterAction in October 2023 and serves as the Food Security, Nutrition, and Agriculture Policy Fellow on the Global Development Policy and Learning team.

Passionate about improving global food security and food systems resilience, Theresa has experience working with both international and U.S.-based NGOs and government agencies. Prior to joining InterAction, Theresa worked with the World Initiative for Soy in Human Health as Project Manager for Africa programs where she oversaw agriculture technical assistance programs and nutrition messaging campaigns. She has also held internships with Helen Keller International investigating resilience outcomes in vulnerable populations and conducted research with the Johns Hopkins Department of International Health on food systems and fragile contexts in Somalia and Uganda.

Theresa is a 12th Class Mickey Leland International Hunger Fellow. She holds a Master of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a B.A. in International Development Studies from McGill University.
