InterAction Announces Two Key Additions to Executive Team
WASHINGTON, D.C. — InterAction, the largest U.S.-based alliance of international NGOs, today announced two key additions to its Executive Team under the leadership of President and CEO, Tom Hart.
Lisa Bos has been appointed as the new Vice President for Global Development Policy, Advocacy, and Learning. Morgan Martinez has been promoted to Vice President for Membership, Communications, and Public Engagement. “I am thrilled to have these two extraordinary people join the leadership of InterAction,” said Hart.
Lisa Bos joins InterAction with nearly 30 years of policy and advocacy experience in Washington. Most recently, she served at World Vision for 13 years, rising from policy advisor for global health to Senior Director of Government Relations. Prior, she was a senior legislative assistant for Representatives Pete Hoekstra (R-MI) and Bill Huizenga (R-MI), and as Policy Director of the Republican Study Committee.
“Lisa’s extensive policy expertise and success in global development and humanitarian advocacy will bring significant benefits to InterAction. Her skill in handling complex issues and building robust bipartisan connections on Capitol Hill will be essential for the strategic influence of our coalition,” stated Hart.
Morgan Martinez assumed the role of Director of Communications at InterAction in May 2019, bringing with her a wealth of experience in strategic communications and digital outreach. Prior to joining InterAction, Martinez spent six years at the International Republican Institute (IRI), where she spearheaded the expansion of IRI’s digital communications initiatives and training. Martinez previously served as Director of Digital Strategy for Governor Buddy Roemer (R-LA) and worked closely with Lieutenant Governor Abel Maldonado (R-CA).
“Morgan’s skills in communications, politics, and international development have been tremendous assets during her time at InterAction, and we are eager for her engagement at the executive level. As we look toward the future, her ability to build audiences across the political spectrum will continue to advance our coalition’s mission,” said Hart.
Bos will start at InterAction on September 20, 2024. Martinez assumed the V.P. position on September 3, 2024.
