Kelsey Maddox

Kelsey Maddox is a Government Relations Coordinator at InterAction. In her role she supports advocacy outreach and coordinates InterAction’s sector working groups focused on budget and appropriations, food security and nutrition, water and sanitation, and regional working groups focused on the Horn of Africa and Latin America.

Kelsey regularly engages with the State Department, Congressional House and Senate offices to track foreign aid funding, advocate for the policies and legislation that impact our member organizations, and monitor NGO response for emergencies in the Horn of Africa and Latin America regions. Prior to InterAction, Kelsey worked at other NGOs doing policy and advocacy work on peacebuilding issues and research on human rights, accountable governance, and civic participation.
