Te’a Williams

Program Associate, Practice

Te’a Williams is a U.S.-based advocate for racial equity and immigrant rights who recently completed her master's degree in International Relations from the Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals in Spain.

A Tulsa, Oklahoma native, Te’a’s commitment to community empowerment and support translates to her work in amplifying the experiences of black and brown women through her engagement within the nonprofit and grassroots sectors.

Her global experiences and human rights background enhanced her commitment to justice and representation at a systematic level, as well as her NGO work with immigrants and refugees. Transitioning to the humanitarian sector, Te’a is eager to utilize her background to build equitable systems that engage more women of color within the sector.

In her free time, Te’a enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, fitness, and learning about cultures within the African diaspora.
