This document provides a framework for humanitarian and development organizations to understand preventing sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (PSEAH) as a matter of human rights. There are three documents: 

A Human Rights Framework for PSEAH - this document includes an introduction to the framework and lays out the elements of the framework.
Annex 1: Definitions - this document defines key terms used in the framework.
Annex 2: Human Rights Documents - this document connects the key elements of the framework to internationally-recognized Human Rights Documents such as Universal Declaration on Human Rights.

This zip file contains the IMC and Concern Safeguarding Focal Point Training translated into Arabic.

This guideline is the result of a CBCM pilot project run by AKF in Afghanistan and Tajikistan in 2020 and 2021, co-funded by AKF USA and InterAction. The aim of this project was to pilot an approach to designing and implementing a community complaints/reporting model that drew on innovative engagement methods and that can be adapted to fir the needs of different communities (and the groups within them) in varying contexts.

MCC created these PSEAH training materials for staff and partners with SOFA, a Haitian-based NGO. They are available in Haitian Creole. 

These documents were developed by FHI 360 to adapt globally approved PSEA guidelines, tools, and promising strategies applied in humanitarian/emergency settings to prevent and respond to SEA when implementing programming in traditional development and humanitarian-development nexus contexts.

This session is intended for use by PSEAH/safeguarding leads to train staff at their organization. The goals of the session are as follows:
1. Staff gain a deeper understanding of PSEAH.
2. Staff develop an understanding of how PSEAH is integral to your organization’s mission and work.
3. Staff begin to see a connection between their work and PSEAH.

This session is designed to be about an hour and can be done virtually or in-person.

This session is intended to be customizable to your organization’s needs. The slides provided are all with InterAction’s branding – however, please feel free to edit the slides to align with your organization’s branding needs. Several slides are either blank or have information that is specific to InterAction – please insert information relevant to your organization in each of these slides.
